Tokyo Babylon is primarilay a manga, though a short, two part anime has been made out of it as well. TB tells the story of the earlier part of Subaru Sumeragi's life. This character is also found later in X-1999 where he is a Dragon of Heaven, fighting for the preservation of the earth. In Tokyo Babylon Subaru is a 16 years old. It tells the story of Subaru, along with his twin sister Hokuto and his friend and love interest, Seishiro Sakurazuka, a friendly vetranarian. Unfoturnately not everything is as it seems, and the story which is primarily happy-go-lucky takes a very dark turn in the end, linking back to past memories forgotten. |
